Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team.
This Sheet metal work will be related to ROOFING.
Copings, counter flashing and some metal roofing.
As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment to fabricate metal parts and components.
Your expertise in milling machines, press brake machines, and other tools will be crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our metal products.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines, press brake machines, and other metalworking equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications - Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accurate dimensions - Program and adjust machine settings for efficient production - Perform quality inspections to identify any defects or deviations from specifications - Handle material handling tasks using forklifts or other equipment - Assist in tooling changes and maintenance of machinery - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role - Proficient in operating milling machines, press brake machines, forklifts, and other metalworking equipment - Strong knowledge of programming and adjusting machine settings - Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers - Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications - Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections - Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues - Experience with plasma cutting and stamping press is a plus - Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job (lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods) - Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment Note:
