Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will be a high energy team player, work well in an office setting, have a friendly demeanor and be customer service oriented.
Candidates should be able to follow directions and have a strong attention to detail.
Position includes general office/admin duties, data entry as well as working on projects as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
Welcomes on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel Ability to write business correspondence Receives, sorts, and routes mail Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies Ensures office equipment such as copiers and postage machine are in good working order Support HR Department with scheduling meetings, prepare employee packets, HR filing, and related reports Tracking of payroll information as directed Assisting with prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance at the direction of the HR Director Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR FORMAL TRAINING, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND/OR SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
Experience in customer service Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be very adept at Excel and able to operate spreadsheets with daily updates and computations.
Working knowledge of office equipment (Scanner, copier, ect) Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Reliable with patience and professionalism Good written/verbal communication skills High school diploma Friendly This position is 40 hours per week, Monday -- Friday 7:
30 am -- 4:
30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break, some overtime may be required.
All positions require satisfactory completion of a physical ability test and clean drug and alcohol screening.
