net/ What is the purpose of this Job? The role of the Commercial Warehouse Associate encompasses duties such as receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, evaluating stock for damages, maintaining precise inventory records, and accurately fulfilling customer orders.
This position is integral to ensuring the efficient, safe, and effective management of the company's inventory.
Acting as a liaison between technicians, vendors, and office staff, the Commercial Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth operations.

Job Description Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and updates.
Monitor stock levels and order materials, components, and products as needed.
Perform routine cycle counts to identify discrepancies and address them promptly.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers for timely deliveries.
Safely and efficiently store products, materials, and equipment.
Implement and maintain a logical and organized storage system for easy retrieval.
Rotate stock and ensure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method is followed.
Conduct regular quality checks on inventory items to identify any damaged or defective products.
Document and report any quality issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
Maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and request repairs or servicing when needed.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and free from hazards.
Adhere to company safety protocols, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing the storage and handling of commercial door and gate products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with installations as needed Communication with purchasing to replenish stock Setting up stock part numbers and analyzing vendor pricing, obtain new vendors to improve costs Qualifications - 3
Years of warehouse experience.
Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices.
Ability to maintain warehouse processes.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work as a team.
Ability to work with others positively and productively.
Strong computer skills.
Skills in inventory control and management.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Forklift experience.
Must possess a current valid driver's license.
This position may be subject to random drug testing.
Must have a neat appearance.
Working Conditions - The work environment described here is representative of the conditions that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee may need to work in confined spaces and challenging access conditions.
They are subject to various environmental conditions, as activities occur both inside and outside.
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials.
Proper use of safety equipment is required to prevent injury to themselves or others.
Physical Requirements- Medium to heavy work - Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 ft.
