We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure efficiency in the movement of goods.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, freight handling, budgeting, process improvement, transportation planning, and demand planning.
Responsibilities:
- Be on site Monday through Friday 7am to 3:
30pm and OT if necessary - Manage and lead small 1 man warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations at 2 locations - Oversee inventory management and control - Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes - Monitor and optimize transportation planning - Procure necessary supplies and equipment for the warehouse - Implement systems to track and manage inventory accurately - Collaborate with other departments to meet demand planning requirements - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Skills:
- Proven experience in warehouse management and operations - Strong budgeting skills to optimize costs - Ability to drive process improvement initiatives - Proficiency in warehouse systems and technology - Knowledge of transportation management principles - Experience in demand planning and forecasting - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
